Justin Gimelstob
Born in Livingston, New Jersey, Justin Gimelstob (31years old)
turned pro in 1996. He has won over $2.5 million in prize money,
capturing 13 ATP Doubles titles and reached his highest
singles ranking of #63 in 1999. Justin won the 1998 Australian
Open and French Open Mix Doubles titles both with Venus
Williams. He has reached the 3rd round of the US Open and
Wimbledon on multiple occasions, won 9 Challenger tennis
events and reached his lone ATP singles finals in Newport,
Rhode Island in 2006. He has also represented the US Davis
Cup team on two occasions, once in 1998 against Italy and in
2001 against Switzerland. Justin retired from professional
tennis after the 2007 US Open where he lost to fellow American,
Andy Roddick. Prior to his pro career, Justin was the top
American junior capturing the 14s, 16s and 18s US Boys
Championships. He then went on to become a All-American at
UCLA where he lead the team to a 27-1  record losing in the
finals to Stanford. He was also a NCAA Doubles Champion.
Justin currently writes a weekly column for SportsIllustrated.
com, host for the Justin Gimelstob Children’s Fund charity event
to benefit children with cancer and blood diseases in New
Jersey and a tennis commentator for Tennis Channel, ESPN
and Fox Sports. Justin currently resides in Los Angeles
