Dates and Location
The inaugural Pete Sampras Ultimate Tennis Experience will be at the fabulous La Costa Resort
and Spa, in Carlsbad, CA. The Experience begins on Thursday, October 2nd and conclude Sunday
October 5th, 2008
Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in Pete Sampras' Ultimate Tennis Experience, you must be 14 years of
age or older and physically able to engage in the various camp activities and games. Minors must
participate and be accompanied by a guardian at least 21 years of age.
Transportation
All Experience participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from San
Diego, CA. Hotel check-in will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 2nd, 2008. Check-out begins
on Sunday, October 5th, 2008, after our closing ceremonies.
Transfers
Car service is provided for those participants arriving at the San Diego International airport. You will
be met by a driver in your airline’s baggage claim area and taken directly the La Costa Resort and
Spa for check-in. The same service will be provided for your departure.
Accommodations
All participants will stay at the luxurious five-star LA Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, CA. Pete
Sampras Ultimate Tennis Experience will provide for the participant (and guest if any) a one
bedroom suite in the hotel for the duration of event (check in will be October 2 and check out will be
on October 5, 2008) – additional night rates have been negotiated and may be booked and paid for
by individuals.
Dining
All meals will be provided by the Pete Sampras Ultimate Tennis Experience (breakfast, lunch, and
dinner) at La Costa Resort and Spa or area restaurants (you will receive meal information in your
welcome packet)
Security
Pete Sampras Ultimate Tennis Experience will provide credentials upon arrival and must be worn
at all times to enter private restricted areas open only to participants of the Pete Sampras Ultimate
Tennis Experience. We want to ensure the safety and security of all our athletes and legends as
well as our participants.
Medical Staff
For your convenience and safety, a doctor will be on call 24 hours a day and a hospital is nearby the
hotel. In addition, a certified training staff will be on-site.
Children
For participants traveling with children the La Costa Resort and Spa has an exciting new club for
kids, Kidtopia takes children’s resort programs to a whole new level. For more information

Photos & Autographs
Pete Sampras Ultimate Tennis Experience participants will have ample opportunity to obtain
photographs with Pete Sampras and other notable athletes and receive autographs as well. We
however encourage participants to limit the items they bring for autographs to a maximum of five (5)
items. Pete Sampras Ultimate Tennis Experience will also have a staff photographer on hand to
take action shots and other pictures of participants and the athletes.
Video
We encourage all participants to bring their own video cameras to capture their experience;
however any footage shot while at Pete Sampras Ultimate Tennis Experience may be used for
personal use only. Pure Sports Management is the sole owner of any footage shot and used for
television, news, or film usage and no licensing will be issued by Pure Sports Management for any
other usage of any footage or video shot while at the Pete Sampras Ultimate Tennis Experience.
Guests
Each participant may be accompanied by one guest only. This guest is welcome to observe the
various activities. Your guest is also invited to attend our Welcoming Reception and the Awards
Dinner — adults only at these two events, thank you.
Waiver & Insurance
Each participant must sign the necessary waiver (medical and photo/likeness) as well as provide a
letter from your doctor verifying your good health and releasing you to participate in this camp.
Event Cancellation Policy
The Sampras Experience reserves the right to cancel the camp for any reason, at any time prior to
the commencement of the camp. In the event of such cancellation, applicants will be entitled to a
full refund.
